I sure wish these eco-wackos were as fervent about defending the rights of Brazilian farmers livelihoods in the Amazon forest.

Both are notorious antagonists of Rainforest preservation.

She should be HAPPY that the incentive to mine gold in the Amazon and other rainforest regions is disappearing.

These people would be far more productively employed learning agricultural and technical skills, not running around on wild gold rushes.

Gold mining is ecologically destructive and encouragement should be made for their operations to re-direct into mining something that has more industrially redeeming values other than as jewelry or taking up vault space.

It's a good thing I don't pledge money to groups like hers. I would take her off my list.... :0)
