Yes, Jesus went to Hell . . .

But remember that hell is just the common grave. he did not battle satan in hell, he was dead. In fact the battle with satan would take place later in heaven (Rev. 12). For three days Jesus Christ did not exist.

OK you say you agree that the soul can die. That is good. Then you assert that the soul only dies if God destroys it. So that would mean there are at least two different types of death. That seems odd.

Consider, why do we die at all? Was that Jehovah's original intention? Why do we need to be saved?

I do not think Jehovah intended for man to die. In fact Jehovah warned Adam against disobedience, which would lead to death. "But as for the tree of knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die." (Genesis 2:17). So if Adam had not eaten from the tree he would not have died!

We also know: "Just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned. " (Romans 5:12)

So we die, because we sin. It is a punishment.
That would indicate that we die completely. This is not what God wanted, but was a result of the rebelion Satan initiated in the garden of eden. That is why Jesus came to earth, so save mankind from this dire fate of death.

You ask how Jesus death/resurection was different: "He committed no sin." He was "undefiled, seperated from the sinners."
--1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 7:26

His shed blood has value to provide deliverance for others. "The Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and to give his soul a ransom in exchange for many." (Mark 10:45)

So since Jesus died perfect, he could present the value of this sacrificial death to Jehovah as a ransom for the original sin. In affect buying back all those condemned to destruction by Adams original sin.

I think I may have confused you in regard to the paradise promised in the Bible. The paradise is not heaven, it is not in heaven. It will be on the earth. Men who are dead will be resurrected to everlasting life on earth as perfect human beings, as was originally intended with the garden of eden.

You asked if Jesus needed a body when he was resurrected. Yes he did, but not a human body like he had on earth, but a spirit body like he had before he was sent to earth. -Jesus is an Angel, the most honored of all creation. He is also known as Michael the Archangel, as denoted in Rev 12. Jesus was created by Jehovah.
