Good News Item......AOL shopping sites to feature Victoria's Secret
COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 26 (Reuters) - Silky lingerie from Victoria's Secret will soon be coming to a virtual mall near you.

Intimate Brands, Inc. (NYSE:IBI - news), operator of more than 850 Victoria's Secret stores, said Monday the brand will appear on America Online's new ShopAOL, ShopAOL.com, ShopCompuServe, and ShopNetscape shopping destinations.

AOL Keyword: Victoria's Secret will bring AOL members to the Victoria's Secret site, which offers users a selection of glamorous lingerie, beauty products and gift items for sale.

Additionally, visitors can visit the ''Glam Lounge'' for interviews and photos of ''The Victoria's Secret Angels,'' including such models as Tyra Banks, Stephanie Seymour, Daniela Pestova and Karen Mulder.

Victoria's Secret will be prominently featured across AOL, Inc.'s online shopping destinations. Victoria's Secret will also announce its new shopping relationship with AOL to its nearly 1 million e-mail registrants.

''We are delighted to be joining other premium brands in the ShopAOL Apparel Commerce Center,'' said Cynthia Fields, President & CEO of Victoria's Secret Catalogue. ''We believe AOL has built the best online shopping 'mall' across all its brands, one offering consumers easy access to their favorite brands in a familiar and convenient environment.''

''Our goal is to bring our members the best possible online shopping experience with brands they know and trust,'' said Myer Berlow, AOL's Senior Vice President for Interactive Marketing. ''We're excited to work with Victoria's Secret to enable AOL and CompuServe members and visitors to our Web-based brands to easily and conveniently purchase Victoria's Secret lingerie, beauty products and gifts.''

Victoria's Secret already has its own site (www.VictoriasSecret.com), which was launched last December.

thanks for advice. I held on, hoping (serendipitously) for slight rebound tomorrow, when I'll be forced to sell some. Actually, can't buy back all of it, only 70% , less what went to cover margin. It's the way margin works at TD/Waterhouse. Might be better to spend money that accrues in margin on a cheaper stock, maybe CS until I've got enough to buy back. (I figure cs is good for 2 point gain. right now at 12--13) Still an AOL long.

(Sure is stomach churning, but I'm still drinking coffee --and I've been through this before obviously, with AOL)
