Now in case you don't know it Ron, let me tell you that one of the biggest dangers to a Y2K crisis lies in the embedded chip systems, which is what this engineer confronts daily through his work!

Rarebird,

Since when is "analog" equivalent to "digital"?? And he stated NO WHERE that he was involved in remediating "embedded systems".

And as a former TAVA holder (before they rolled over and let themselves get taken over), I'm QUITE AWARE of the embedded systems issue.

The purpose of this thread is to provide information and search for ongoing truths concerning the Y2K Impact on the Stock Market and Society.

Oh absolutely!!!!! But you don't arrive at truth by accepting suppositions or undocumented opinions.

You put words in this fellows mouth, Rarebird, but portraying his opinion as that of an "expert" who was working on Y2K issues. He's not. It appears he's NEVER programmed in COBOL, FORTRAN, or many of the older languages, except C (assembler language).

My intention, Rarebird, is to prevent opinions from being presented as facts. Especially when the source of those opinions do not bear close scrutiny.

If you were just searching for "truth", rather than trying to support an agenda (whether it be for corporate, or personal justification of your own actions), you would have just posted the link and not added your opinion on the gentleman's qualifications.

Regards,

Ron

<not added your opinion> Shame, giving your opinion!:) High Priest has spoken, Rarebird! No one may again voice an opinion! (well, maybe it will be allowed if its a pollycracker opinion, you never know!) Whatta think Rarebird, should we petition the High Priest's big daddy in the sky to see if mr. High's Edict can be overturned? :)
