Ivan,

DURA:

"I'm quite sure I'm not following you here: I keep seeing a cat driving a white Monaco backwards down I-95 while an IL policeman escaped from a Richard Scarry book tries to hand out an IL ticket.
Is that what you meant?"

Ummmm...not quite. That's just a bit too graphic. lol!!

Ok, here's a scenario sans a few whys and wherefors in order to avoid writing a book here.

DURA's latest gap engenders the environment for a signal within that specific environment. The gap before that engenders its own environment within the supply/demand dynamic. It's possible (however remotely) that the first gap will not become a factor. The scenario that brings it back into focus is:
DURA does its 28% (we'll go avg. here but I have an upside target of 15 1/4 for it...neither here nor there at this point) move off this signal and starts the slide back to a new signal. Along the way, it gaps down...say from 12 1/4 to 11 7/8. That starts a new 15 day incubation period. During that period, it gets nasty and falls to below 9 3/4. Maybe it signals again (in relation to the most recent gap) and does another 28% and the above slide and gap down is repeated but in a lower range. Eventually, DURA does drop below 7 15/16 and signals. BUT...to what gap is that signal related??? It wouldn't matter at that point...it's a signal. A signal as defined by the system...
A 30% gap down creates the environment...the incubation period is related to the most recent 30% gap. The 28% avg. reaction holds within the specific environment created by the 30% gap to which it is linked.
I can't give you any other examples except that which you've noted...MANU. It's just the way the market does things...go figure.

Hope this helps.

Iknow, I know...not likely. But, hey, I tried. It works.

PS...er...that's a Monte Carlo SS...not a Monaco...>gg<
