It's 40 miles and I've driven it in an hour at night. Bad traffic might double that.

Well, that is what I figure...the problem is that I and my wife have used Yahoo to plan both personal and business trips, even ones where we flew but needed to drive on the other end, and it has been reasonably accurate, and as often generous in the allowance of time as not, because it aims for the best route in moderate traffic. When I drove around Manhattan on July 5th, so many people had taken a long weekend, it was light traffic, and everything was much faster than the Yahoo times...
