just received confirmation from Terayon that there cable modems also use VxWorks Fyi: An engineer friend of mine is working on a cable modem for a company in the Carlsbad area. Forgot the name, not a big company, but they also are using Wind. Apparently it is very highly rated modem. -DP

Speaking of CEO's - what about Steve Jobs? All the ingredients are there: Apple is looking to expand the iMac universe to the home network. Their Airport wireless base station developed with Lucent is the future for the home and school. If Steve wants to take on Bill, then why not add another CEO hat. Steve has done a great job with Pixar and Apple. It sounds like WIND just needs the PR anyway, as its fundamentals are sound and Fiddler provides the vision. Let's expand the universe. Sincerely, Ben
