most often ... on bad days like this ... we get a decent relief rally ... the following day ... I'll hold for that

You're too emotional. Calm down. Nasdaq is having a haircut and meanwhile TWE's COO has gone to enemy's camp. Things will look up once the Greenspan effect is over.

Jim,

I get the same problem you have. It is a bug in WebBrokken that I have a hard time convincing them to fix. Obviously you are not the only one. This is the link to my original gripe:

Message 10486966

I bet that you were modifying an existing order. There are 2 ways to get around that bug:

1. Cancel the existing order and place a new limit order. Don't just modify the existing order.
2. A fellow SI member responded to my gripes and said that modifying the order into a GTC order will do the trick. I have not tried it though.

Hope this makes you feel better.

Barry, feel your pain. That POS... TWE... that TD foisted on the market at excessive issue screwed everyone. Just bail like I did and buy it back in the 'teens. Hey at least BIDS got a better first few days in the US than good ol' screw the Canuks blind TD offering did.

UPDATE 07/26/99...now I'm really starting to wonder if buy it back in single digits is doable?
