Board Approves Decision To Form Subsidiary For Optical Access Business.-July 26, 1999 Revenues for the quarter were $73,251,000, up from $65,742,000 in the second quarter of 1998. Net income for the second quarter of 1999 was $525,000 compared to net income of $8,528,000 in the quarter ended June 30, 1998. Basic and diluted earnings per share for the second quarter of 1999 were $0.02 compared to basic earnings per share of $0.32 and diluted earnings per share of $0.30 in the second quarter of 1998.
