Doug, I respect your TA very much and look forward to what you have to say regarding eBay. Please look back just 10 months:

On August 13,1998 you started this thread with much optimism for the future of eBay. Just weeks later eBay issued it's IPO and closed on September 24, 1998 at 15 5/8. Your investment in eBay today would be sixfold of your original investment, not bad!! eBay still has all the potential that you forecast so many weeks ago. Don't blame the Company for the extreme price fluctuations, it's the investment public that you should point your finger.

I'm a heavy user of eBay and love it. I can live with the problems as long the Company is making progress and moving ahead. This Company is something special, just as you predicted. It is time to step back and "size up the forest, not just the trees".

Respectably,
Bud

>>>> I think eBay might be fairly priced at $50. <<<

So at what price are you planning on buying or do you feel that EBAY has become a lousy investment even if it hits 50?
