what's for supper this evening, may i ask?

Probably raisin bran with banana. Didn't go into the office today (where the Safeway is on the ground floor) and it was too hot to go out just for food. Besides, you guys have been keeping me busy. :)

Looking forward to your response to Ron. Thoughtful posts are always appreciated.

Karen

your question and ron reece's unanswered question of me earlier in the weekend dovetail quite nicely and my wife and i have enjoyed the conversational repast of composing a thoughtful reply to reece which would also shed light upon your query.

I'm looking forward to that response.

If it's good, as well as plausible, I'll pass it on to those I know, who know some of the govt Y2K bigwigs (no promises of a response though...:0)

(to others: The question refers to exactly what approach the gov't should be taking this fall with regard to what they say and don't say to American public, vis-a-vis Y2K.

The goal of such being that the gov't certainly should not try to turn what is now an uncertain future, into a panic-stricken certainty.

Regards,

Ron
