I think this Market has a lot further to fall, much further than most people think. No crash, just a Salami decline, a very slow drawn out Chinese water torture for the dipsters and Polyanna bulls. How low? I think we break below last falls low of Dow 7400. 6750 perhaps later this year. The game and party is over, this Bull is Dead.
I expect gold and the XAU to start rallying tommorrow.
The gov't is supposedly running a surplus ( LOL) primarily from capitol gains. That surplus is as changeable as the Weather. I don't know a resource off hand. Will look though.

Investors and traders will learn what risk is over the next 6-9 months.

<<does anybody know a resource to say where tax revenue is coming from..is there a break down on how much is from capitol gains versus
income..>>
Might try census site, better yet listen to Rush Limbaugh, he says(if I'm quoting right) top 15% pay 90% of taxes.

Morgy, IRS Tax info irs.ustreas.gov unearned income ( capital gains) have been a big factor in reducing the deficit. contrary to the politicians I do not consider a budget balanced when the national debt continues to rise albeit at a slower pace. Once the market and the economy turns down you will see big deficits once again. mike
