My thoughts exactly -- Thursday or Friday (morning) will probably prove to be the top for the short term. Back in February, the big tout-fest moves hit their peaks on a gap-up open on the last day of the tout-fest. (The "gap-and-gasp" pattern when it opened at 80 and went straight down all day was a picture-perfect example.) Starting tonite, I'll be putting in an order to short at today's_close+2, in case somebody starts jumping the gun. There have been a lot of gap-opens that hit the daily high within the first half hour of the open the past seven or eight sessions. What options do you like? I'm thinking Oct 45's at 2 1/2 or so in the next couple of days gives me a chance to sell some Aug 45's on a quick drop and pull most of the money right back off the table.
