Hummel, the same for you...had you ever spent a day in uniform? Probably not if a few words like "sh%t" gives you the willies...

Swearing everyday is not a good thing, but nothing is more effective as a commander who does not scream and yell on a daily basis...the same commander, when provoked, can really send a message to the men when he utters a bad word...

They are all leadership techniques...sometimes, believe it or not, when the heat is on, a little emotion in your speech and a few colorful metaphors can really "motivate people"...maybe if instead of draft dodging during the "Nam" you actually served your country you would understand these things...

P.S. How do I know you have never served in the military? You mistook me for a Marine...had you ever served, you would realize that the M in USMA does NOT stand for Marine...don't try a rebuttal citing your chest full of medals...

Besides, when is a colorful expletive considered screwing up? We are not in Sunday school...and certainly, we are not little girls here...well, at least one of us isn't...
