These folks who say that the PC is going to get replaced by Palms, set-top boxes, TVs or microwave ovens are kidding themselves............ PCs forever, baby! (And that's not to say Palms forever, too! Heck, they sold 1 million of them already, and did a single one of them get sold instead of a PC? I think not!)

Sam, Hi!!! PC DEMAND>>>IDC RE: These guys are always crying wolf. Imagine that!!! The constant whinin' of the "experts" tellin' everyone to sell...sell....sell...the PC era is over...and, then some one tells me to diversify...I have the only stock I need...the management tells me where it's going...the industry is strong..."no slowdown"...Who are these guys kiddin'...PC's are diversification and the future is not about to slow anytime soon...the upgrades will keep coming and when bandwidth strikes...Now, the ball game starts alllllll over again... Gotta love technology... THANKS SAM...great article...Andy Swerver does a nice job poking fun at these churners... Best, Kemble
