Note that there is only enough, overall, for maybe only 2%!

The other 28% of this 30% will be toast!

The remaining 70%, those that won't stock up-asssuming these stats hold up- will be BURNT toast!

Thanks for sharing your plans.

Like most of the discussion on the thread, your post is solely about survival planning. Perhaps that's just because so many on the thread expect y2k to bring the end of civilization. While I consider that to be a real albeit unlikely possibility, I'm a fatalist about it-- there's not much to be done--so I'm focused on a nuisance-level scenario of mild to moderate severity and undetermined length.

Since SI is about investing, after all, I was expecting more talk about what people plan to do with their portfolios. Would you or anyone care to comment on that aspect of preparation?
