Hector,

If what you say is true (some verification of facts is needed), then you are really on to something.

Mr. Braverman is an analyst at Banc of America Securities - NationsBanc Montgomery Securities... a subsidiary of BankAmerica Corp. These analysts know better than to rate STRONG BUY when its high and make negative comments after their favorite security has fallen, but they do it anyway.

Can anyone explain why?

Hector....

there is no such thing as free advice from the sharks. Cost of free advice from Braverman is $60/share. However you can be safe in assuming people who were paying money to his service (mind you much lesser in % than the common folks who felt good about the free upgrade report) rather than to his public press releases made out like bandits....

To give benefit of doubt to Braverman (if he really got his private clients to AOL @ 160) it might just be a coincidence but funds or big position holders will sell into good news when too much expectation is built into the stock . They have to .... otherwise they will be killed trying to liquidate their huge positions on weakness.
