Grayhairs,

<For your information, Cal Canal has not yet hit and will not for at least 3 weeks> I was referring to the action in the stock - up 15% (OK the last 3 cents was on only 1,000 shares but let me gloat a bit!)

Re: the interest of HTP in TMK - I can't remember when or from whom I heard it but I believe it was partly at least due to Hilton cutting TMK in for part of ELH and Cal Canal etc. Yes it is a bit incestuous with overlapping directorships but hey if they continue to move who cares what the exact holdings or degree of overlap are?

I must defer to your greater knowledge in this area but believe that Philip Zaccharia is a practitioner. Brad Colby of Hilton seems to have a pretty good pedigree also, as does Neil Darling. Not so sure about Don Busby and Nick de Mare who seem to be more in the funding end but they have been involved with TMK and Hilton for quite a while. I understand that KOB lucked into what for them is a new area rather than having been working in oil & gas previously. I would welcome comments/corrections as this sector is new to me.

I am personally willing to accept more risk via TMK for the huge potential as mine is a small position relative to that in HTP and ELK, who have much the same risk profile in ELH as KOB. I can't wait for TMK's warrants which should be an exciting trading vehicle when they trade in November - assuming Cal Canal is not a damp squib! What is your view of the risks associated with Cal Canal vs the ELH play at this time last year? (I heard that it is actually quite a bit lower risk hence the decision to drill a structure with lower potential reserves before the potentially larger but riskier Lucky Dog & the next one which are more similar to the ELH structure.)

Don't worry - you do not come across as facetious or sarcastic.
