Accoriding to some poster on the ebay thread, new users are not as active, margins to say @ 70% level (for next 2 Q's) before heading higher in 2000, planing on more acquistions. Some of the highlights that I can recall off the top.

Check out the eBay thread on SI, opposing views are in agreement.

<<and how did the conference call go? You know?<<

According to the above, you could only listen to the CC upto the Q&A point, after that the call was dropped (keeping with eBay tradition.)

On a different topic, AOL lost a SF city council vote to allow it to have access to cable lines. Don't know if anyone posted this or not.

On a different topic, Greenspan knew that the "netural" stance at the last FED meeting would cause the markets to skyrocket, it wasn't the rate increase that investors were worried about, so didn't he keep a "tightening" stance and we wouldn't be going through the same crap today? Does he not realize that he's playing games with peoples savings? This whole jawboning is a joke if not criminal.

Just voicing my opinion
