I think people would be well advised to not believe everything they read. If someone - anyone - is willing to say something negative about the Clintons, the statement may well show up as a "fact" in some poison-pen book or other. I seem to recall Nancy Reagan being given the same treatment - pictured as a slut - by Kitty Kelley (think I have the name right). For a writer like Kitty Kelley or Tyrrell, it's impossible to tell the difference between fact and fiction since they'll accept any negative charge as factual.

Tyrrell's mag, the American Spectator, carried an anti-GWB article recently. I wonder if those who lap up the American Spectator's anti-Clinton stories will swallow this one too?
