If you have off shore accounts or canadian accounts you can easily short us securities the rules are more lax in those area's...I was being sarcastic, you don't need a "ton o' money" you just need some different accounts and a pretty good relationship with whomever you are dealing with for them to get you the shares...and remember mm's can short anything they want...naked or not.
