No, John.

They said 7-20 times revenues would be the worth for Optical Access. At a $63 million run rate this comes to $440 million- $1.26 billion - (yes, more than our total market cap) but they only intend (not committed yet) to IPO about 20%, which should bring in $88-250 million. Figure 10X as doable and that is about $125 million, if I understand how this works.

I bet tomorrow is a million+ share day.

<<In summary, return to profitability ,award winning products, new and improved manufacturing facilities, improving margins, scheluled beta testing of many new products in high-growth areas, hot new IPO(s?),new affiliate, secret relationships, ramping up R& D and SG&A,FibreMountain will be much taller than CopperMountain, new product announcement coming in Sept. What is not to like? >>akmike

This is way too much good news. The law of MRVC says the market's going to tank tomorrow.<g>

On a more serious note, it seems to me they are addressing the "too scattered" issue with the IPO(s?). Noam specifically mentioned getting a CEO for Optical Access. With each such spin off, there should be less on Noam's shoulders in the way of day to day management and more time for strategic planning, etc.

Glad I'm not going to the beach/fishing tomorrow. It should be an exciting day one way or the other. Besides, it is hot as hades and super muggy outside right now. The weather man said it is too hot for the normal afternoon thunderstorms to form.

By the way, the 3rd try was the charm and we got an excellent view of the shuttle launch. You could even distinguish the 2 flames from the solid boosters from 90 - 100 miles away!

Good night,
Bob
