Hi Jack,

Yep, lots of daylight up here in the North country. Sunrise 5:15 am, Sunset 10:57 pm. Total 17hrs. 42 min. We lose about 4 min of daylight each day. It always seems strange to those that first visit Alaska but once you get used to it, it is nice. Lots of time to do daylight chores. Of course party animals have to go home in the sunshine (or rain) as the case may be....Haven't been tracking the shuttle but just installed a gps on my boat and was amazed at the number of satellites floating around in space. I counted about 15. Technology is amazing to think I can be guided to a pinpoint position on the gps from outer space. Whoa..........
