How current would this information be on insider selling? If it makes the 7/26/99 newsletter, does it mean that this is news is under 1 month old(or even 2 weeks). TIA

I want to short this thing on a bounce back---if it happens.

Remember...filing does not mean they will sell...it is filing w/the intent to sell. There is a pretty big timeframe for all this to be executed, and usually these sales are done in block trades w/institutions, to avoid tanking the stock.

Also, it's worth noting that all major tech companies have seen insiders lining up to sell in the last 6 months. It really isn't an indication of much, except to say that they are probably realizing that they need to diversify their portfolios a bit, particularly as the market gets alot more volatile.
