GST, 9984 is Softbank's listing number on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. tse.or.jp I think if you check with ML you will find that they purchased shares of Softbank on the TSE and that the shares purchased aren't ADR's traded in the US. The trading costs should be the tip-off. The following sites provide, I believe, an accurate listing of ADR's trading on US exchanges: global-investor.com adr.com Wish I was in the islands now, our summer up here in Alaska doesn't seem much like summer right now.
