Thanks Chuca, think I got it now. The tar sand folks are removing all the sand that overlays the sedimentary rock BMD wants to study. Those same folks have supplied BMD with all their drill core library of the area for study which lowers the cost of exploration substantially. BMD is doing magnetic studies (Pulse EM) to try and find targets on faults that could be prospective for higher concentrations of gold and platinum group metals trapped in them. And the sedimentary rocks from the Carlin Trend in Nevada are similar to the rocks underlying the Alberta Tar sands properties BMD is exploring so there is a good chance BMD properties may harbor the same low temperature Carlin type gold deposits with other heavy metal concentrations too.
