Though I am still bullish on AOL long term, 4 million shares is about 4% of the company. That's enough of a sell to get me to thing about getting out for the time being. fwiw (oh -- this probably signals the bottom ;))

>>The FCC will, I assume, submit a brief in opposition to open access to the Circuit Court in connection with the Portland matter. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Circuit Court reverse the Portland determination.

Either them or the Supremes. The FCC and AT&T will win because of a little thing called the Cable Act, which AT&T correctly contends prohibits local cable-franchise authorities from imposing access obligations on cable systems. In any event, AOL really has no case in foisting itself on cable - with regular dial-up, DSL and their Directv deal in the offing.

In rallying their mob, AOL, today's leading InterNOT company, seeks to delay the inevitable, the postAOL world of fast, easy, bundled cable internet access.
