Why isn't Yahoo! releasing some PRs or good news to try to help the shareholders and differentiate it's stock from all the rest? For Yahoo! to be viewed as a leader it needs to lead not follow the rest of the market as it has been since earnings. If Yahoo! doesn't take some steps soon to increase shareholder value in the short term, many may lose their patience with this company including me. I know that past performance is not a guarantee of future performance but as much as I'd hate to believe it, it looks as though the 50 DMA could touch if not go below the 200 DMA. There seems to be no buyers right now at the 200 DMA. Internet stocks seem to be out of favor and they need a leader. Can you hear me Yahoo!?

Donkeyman, sorry I have not done any DD on FREEV.

I am personally not very familiar with how a U.K. company
operates, although my U,K, friends did tell me that FREEV
has been kicking AOL-UK's butt for a while.

Good luck to your investment.

On an offnote, donkeyman, I think the idea of free internet service
is great for YHOO. This could enable the online population to
grow at a even faster pace. Don't forget we still have billions
of people in, say china, in a "offline" mode so far.

Donkeyman, go to AOL thread for more discussion on "free" internet in UK. But briefly there is no such thing as free local call in the UK, internet users end up paying a heavy toll (as much as $50 a month for 10 hours "free" internet use). FreeServe gets a kick back from the phone company. AOL is now offering "free" access in the UK.
