Mel is knee-jerk without thought. Not a bad person, just never exposed to anything but conventional political thinking, IMO.

Well, for one thing mel thinks that Michelle is a liberal. I have tried to tell mel that that is only so on a few issues, like abortion, and that basically she is without principle of any kind, except, as truedog would say, the worship of Mammon, but she still tends to think that we have "driven the liberals off", and therefore that Michelle has been "heroic" for staying...
