Hi BHunt. I appreciate the post you just made and there is a lot of wisdom in what you say.

And yes the investor frustration level is high in the absents of news and perceived or real lack of developments on the part of FNTN. I guess I too am in that camp with those that are frustrated and for that reason have chosen to just sit back and let management continue with what needs to be done. But frustrated just the same.

When I first bought into FNTN I knew the risk I was taking and have bought more shares since. I guess I was prudent enough to not buy more then I am comfortable with holding in my portfolio, even if it goes to zero. I want to make money like everyone else on FNTN and still believe that will be the most probable outcome, otherwise I would be long gone.

So I guess I personally will just sit back and see how the cards play out as you put it. For me investment reality is the fulfillment of dreams and goals that I set for stock I buy. And the fulfillment of the dreams and goals I have for FNTN are just taking longer then I had first hoped for and is the case for most other investors I would suspect. I surly am not saying to anyone else to do the same if they are uncomfortable with their investment, because that is a very individual business and personal decision for any investor. As you said “We have to trust them with how they play the hand or go find another table” and with that I concur.

Wishing all the best in all their investing.

Regards,

Bill Fortune III

P.S. I am also frustrated with about 12 of the other stocks I also own.

BHUNT - Bravo --- Off Topic

BH,

I've been posting on SI since Dec. 25, 96. Not including Due Diligence post's, your analogy post is the best post I read during that time. Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts so well.

I play Craps, in fact it's the only game I play in a Casino. I was out on Premiere Cruise Line's Casino Ship the Ambassador II last weekend. Just to get a taste of the action, I say taste because it is not Las Vegas by any means. As you stated "The secret is to catch the hot roll" and with only a couple of Crap Tables the odds of catching a Hot Roll in the time allotted are slim, though not impossible.

Your Story reminds me so much of my trip to Network + Interop in Las Vegas in May. My last day there I headed to the Venetian a brand new casino. I had played there my first night there, and had lost ever where else during the past 3 days.

I arrived at 4:30pm and walked up to the Crap table. On the opposite end was a guy who was a little drunk, and very loud. A few minutes later a gentleman came up and took a position next to me, a high roller. He was betting 2-5 hundred dollars a session. He had a plane to catch in 2 hrs. He mostly lost, I wasn't doing to well myself. I play conservative, always waiting for that Hot Roll. The longer he played the more he got annoyed at the guy at the other end of the table, I too thought the Drunk was obnoxious. The gentleman left to catch his plane.

Around 10pm I decided to take a break and have dinner. I returned to the table around 11:15, the drunk was still there and even louder. The only place open at the table was just 4 people away from the drunk. All of a sudden the drunk became silent, as the effect of his drinking finally took it's toll and he feel into a stupor. About 30 minutes later he said he was heading to his room. The dice came around to where he was standing and two new people had taken position where he was. For the next hour and 10 minutes, the four people before me had the dice. Anyone who plays the game knows a person is lucky to hold the dice 5 minutes. Talk about Hot!

After the first person, had completed their roll, I was back in the black. By the time the 4th person finished it was 1 am and I had just participated in the Hottest streak I had ever seen at a Crap table. And yes my bets had gone up accordingly. Place bets were $96. Each on the 6 & 8, $60. on the 9 & 5, My line bet was $25, with a $60 odds bet, most of the time, and the adrenaline was pumping.

At 1:30am I asked for Color on the chips I had accumulated. The total $7, 475. I could have made even more had I played a more riskier session.
Those 4 people must have rolled 7 on the come out roll at least 25 times, unbelievable! Had my line bets been more, I would have walked out of the place with a lot more, though the grin on my face could not have been any bigger. Of course I could not get away without the Pit Boss signing me up for their Players Club, and I will be staying at the Venetian on my next trip.

A tip to anyone playing Craps. Occasionally put $5 on the Hard 8 and Hard 6. But throw out $12, that's two for the dealers. You soon find you have 3-4 friends at the table. The Dealers! For a small token you have 4 people taking care of your money, insuring you have the correct odds, and your money is always where you normally play it. I've always done this, but doing this on the Casino Ship, I can't tell you how nice the dealers were to me. I don't really understand how people can bet money like it's nothing to them, yet be so cheap as to not tip the dealers. They maybe cheap, but they also don't know what the dealers can do for them over the course of the their time at the table.

In some ways this is the way I view some investors and the way they bitch about Management, when the stock is not performing to their expectations.

Even a dog is smart enough not to bite the hand that feeds them.

When the Hot Roll comes along, you'll still find me standing at this table.

Thanks again BHunt, and I'll be using the URL to your post in the future many times.
