Dano, I disagree. Everything has it's time. Refusing to serve during any other war had a different meaning because society was different. It is wrong to judge a person's actions versus a different culture, because it is taking things out of context. Ali's principles were hardly selective. He gave up everything for them. His title, his money, his prestige, his career. He gave up the summation of his enire's life work for principle. That isn't selective, it's rare in this day and age, but isn't selective. Mark
