Well the short side is painful this morning. Anyone have any ideas on the cause of the rally? Perhaps one of the following:

>Did Greenspan lower interest rates?
>Did Steve Case buy his AOL stock back?
>Has Y2K gone away?
>Did Ebay restate their earnings to indicate a larger profit?
>Has DSCM raised their IPO offer price?
>Stocks have been down long enough.

>>Looks like e-bay got no-where to go this summer. <<

But down, that is. This morning it was looking for a cliff to jump from. Shorted more at 106. Now seems engaged in a struggle to keep its head above 100.

Jan, Bot EGRP at 31 3/8. It's at the 200day EMA, usually a safe place to buy.
I'll see what happens.
