Hey, great. HP also offers the 8570C which has a built-in CD-RW drive for less than $1500. And they also offer at least 3 more models with CD-RW built-in.

But what was the best-selling computer last month? That's right. The $1199 Apple iMac with no floppy and no Zip. Just Ethernet, USB, and modem. Removable storage is being relegated as an OPTION. Apple used to offer half of their models with standard Zips. Now there is only 1 model, their second most expensive.

Now we are seeing PC makers shift from Zips to CD-RW. And the prices for CD-RW-enabled computers are crashing down too.

I'm not exactly sure where I saw it, but IBM has a Zipped pc for less than a $1000.
