Her whole persona is defined by flaws. Read again:

There are both political and personal flaws which define the woman. Her Marxist doctrine is obviously at odds with my capitalist/compassionate conservatism. Her Sunday-Times-in-bed elitism is antithetical to those she purports to represent. Her preachy sermons on everything from health care to child rearing to tax policy are nothing more than sanctimonious ramblings of a superiority complex gone awry. Her feigned ignorance of her husband's affairs is designed to garner sympathy while masking her complicity. Her behind-the-scenes tinkering with matters of state and justice make Chuck Colsen look like a real plumber. And her personal profiteering and selfish indulgences during the 80s smack of cynical excess.

In short, she takes us all (Americans) for fools.

It may be that Daley was as much of a jerk as Hillary, my primary recollections of him are prepubescent....Actually, I do not see how anyone observant could miss her conceit, nor her charmlessness. I will say that the matters are disputable, and if you find her modest and charming, I don't know what to say. I believe that I am reacting to real qualities. How influential she is is not altogether relevant, the main point is that she is continually in the public eye....

There's no comparison.

Daley was an old style boss. An elected boss, several times. No hypocrisy, just plain old managing a city any way he wanted. He told people what he was going to do, not what they should do or how they should think.

Mark, with all due respect (and I don't know how the others feel about this) I despise Hillary, not because she is a so called liberal (I think anarchist would be more appropriate) but because she has absolutely no redeeming character traits. If you would carefully go back through the archives, from the time she was photographed at the burning of an American flag up to date, you would see a pattern of deceit, dishonesty, and vicious reprisals against all who opposed her agenda. From my point of view, this is not a political issue but a personal dislike for an ingrained vicious person with no scruples. TD
