William and Kevin - Re: Golds, inflation, Greenspan, etc., What do you think of the implication of higher oil prices in the inflation equation? It not only affects fuel for transportation but also energy for processing everything from donuts to drams. It's bound to start showing up in the PPI sooner or later, yes?. fish

I try not to think that hard during the summer<G> No idea as to what will be the "cause", but I have a fairly good idea what the outcome will be. Just play the up and down. What fun! Anyway, look at the little monster TMED. Been playing with it since last Wed. Now today, some backwater brokerage outfit gives it an "upgrade" and the thing runs, again. I see SPD, which was a supplier of tread rubber to me in years past, is being bought out by another old supplier of mine, CTB. Wish I had had some calls on SPD, what a move...
