Hi S&P,

<<With 3/5 of this casing being run inside larger casing, we should be cementing by now, wouldn't you think?>>

Probably should be, but ONLY if they had no significant "trouble spots" to work through in the other 2/5 of the hole. But, as they say, patience is a virtue. We'll hear pronto when they do resume drilling though. But, to me it doesn't matter at all anyway because the resumption of drilling operations will not change anything that I plan on doing at this point.

What I have found very interesting in recent days was:

1) the NR stating that they are running casing at 17,100 feet, some 500 feet higher than in the blowout well. IMHO, that bodes very well for even greater gas reserves and it also should virtually guarantee long term water free production from the replacement well, no matter what its source was during the blowout. On this news, I dug up a couple of Mrs. G's tin cans that were buried in the back yard. <gg>

2) the news from Hilton that the JV intends to move the rig which is now drilling the replacement well to a yet to be announced 3rd location in the ELH pool. With each well running $8-10MM U.S., you have to know that the JV has a very high confidence level in what they have here. They aren't waiting for any "well tests" !!! On this news, I dug up one of my own tin cans that was buried in the back yard !! <gg>

Have a great day.

Later,

P.S.-- J'aime bien le beau soleil aujourd'hui. Quand est tu depart a la France ?? Et, bon voyage.

P.S.S.--The good stuff runs more like 64.9/litre or over $65/tank !! You'd think they could patch our #@$&%~*#$ roads with that amount of tax revenue !!!
