Interesting to hear your perspective. From the other side of the tracks, I am a former Dell customer. I now buy primarily from Micron. The quality seems higher (although certainly the sample size is small), the prices better, and Micron's service has been better thus far.

Hi BBG, Lifetime Dell Customer My Dell PC is a 1997 model - do I have to worry about Y2K and if so is there an easy fix - I'm told to get in and switch the year to the long form instead of the short form, ie. instead of 99, 1999, and therefore instead of 00, it'll go to 2000 instead of neverland or rather nevertime!?? jenghis
