That's not the business model, John and I think you know it. MP3.COM is a portal play. Like GeoCities, Broadcast.com. They've got the eyeballs and they've got the content. That and 350 million bucks.

That makes them a player in the brand open internet music market.

MP3.COM has never said they were planning on selling MP3's. They would rather have you buy DAM CD's and watch their advertising. Either one is a win. They have a huge opportunity in the mid-range success market for pop and rock acts that are being treated like sh*t by record companies. People who sell a 500K units and then get no money after paying for their videos. At MP3.COM these artists will get half of all moneys collected for sales.

I'd encourage you to take a look at a prospectus before you embarass yourself further with your nonsense.
