Yes, Y2K will be interesting.

The one wild card that could really serve to stabilize if not juice the US Markets is...Investors around the globe know that US financial markets and banks are prepared and certified for Y2K. US corporations by and large have taken appropriate action as well.

Foreign investors looking for safer havens will up their US allocations. It would not surprise me to see large sums of money flowing into the US during the OCT-DEC timeframe.
