It's so funny you mention Y2K. I PMed Jenna on this and never heard anything from her - I know she's busy. But I thought, hmmm...I'll have to look into who owns Coleman (rampant buying of kerosene lanterns and heaters). Maybe I'll I short the airlines in December in the event pilots strike in the last week. I should probably short utilities and the banks, as well. I'll have to research more of the dry goods/foods companies and see who sells bottled water...Perhaps I'll buy EBAY late in the year or in January as people try to unload their horded wares. What else...short gold now, buy calls/futures in October as people fill their garages with it (unnecessarily). Sheesh! Sure wish there were champagne futures... Also hotel/vacation companies.

Feel free to add to this list, but I see opportunity here. I just have to sit down one day and compose my thoughts and categorize "likely" events and versus the "non-events".
