Stock Bull, let me take your questions one at a time:

By the float, I assume you are referring to the number of shares outstanding.

No. The float refers to the shares that can be traded. Restricted stock cannot be sold (although they are outstanding), so they are not part of the float. When the restriction is lifted the shares are now part of the float. But this has no affect on eps.

Does the 4 million added shares "dilute" the eps ratio?
Yes. Analysts should include this dilution for prospective eps forecasts.
