I don't know about anyone else, but I find the new tools on the threads to be extremely useful.

Earlier I place a post re: and insider sale. The particular date of the transaction did not jive with the stock price. Normally, I would have sought out historical pricing from my bookmarks, opened a separate window to a different website. The new tools we have with the beta site are so easy, just click Hist. price at the bottom of the ticker information. Voila!.........it is at our fingertips.

I can now clean up my bookmarks. A lot more information is now right here in river city.

So I don't understand your issue.

I seem to have left off the basis of the issue - my failure to communicate. Again. <g> I'll start from the beginning.

Actually, the header to this thread provides an example: the
Beta feedback: beta.siliconinvestor.com
link (and others like it scattered in the beta) are what I mean by the term "black hole". I have made several suggestions to such links and they just vanish into the dark. Perhaps I should have posted here instead. Please provide your own (or SI's) term and contrast the treatment of feedback.gsp-submitted concepts with items posted to this thread. Thank you.

Re: Issue #1 - logon.
Thank you for the link to BryanB's message. Resolving the fears of the cookie-phobic with the preferences of those SI users with secure premises and little need/regard for security doubtless will be interesting. And I likely am blissfully unaware of many issues - and intend to stay that way. FWIW, SI has my best wishes for success. As a measure of my interest, SI can count on me to make noise if it don't work for me ... as it didn't yesterday.

New sub-topic: are you (Catlady) affiliated with SI? I tried to figure it out, but remain confused in trying to understand the defensive nature of your post. Clearly BryanB is rather affiliated, as are the Dryers. I know Cheeky at least used to claim to be SI, though his profile doesn't currently reveal an affiliation to SI. Perhaps you were just defending SI's integrity as a proud user?
