About reloading the "putguns": "and for the most part a losing proposition. What makes you think it will be any different this time?"

There is a decent chance it may not turn out any different this time, and I would give that same old, same old scenario about a 35% probability of occurring. On the other hand, as I see it, now is the time to load up on some LEAP puts that at least will not expire until 12/00, because many things seem to be falling into place for the next bear market finally to appear. (evidence of all these things has already been posted on the boards by others here, along with many good links) Don't get me wrong, I would'nt mortgage the house to go all out short or anything, but I'm going to accumulate long term puts on the rallies, and sell some calls on my stock positions. It is a time to be conservative, not overconfident in my opinion, BWDIK? Yogi
