Why didn't you ask him the main question: Why doesn't he keep his shareholders informed! That is the key to all his credibility problems.

Assume reference is made to the First Union merger. That was last May.

Surprised there was no formal announcement abt the change.

Ratan lal - Very interesting post. I wonder if he called you b/c you didn't come off as angry, but rather curious? In any case, what he told you is consistent w/ my understanding of the process. Any new underwriter will want to see the most current financial data B4 investing. I can imagine the phone conversations between NAVR and Everen when Everen broke the news of the merger. Would've liked to have been a fly on THAT wall.

Anyone check to see if NAVR has filed suit against Everen for failure to fulfill fiduciary role as underwriter? I would think that NAVR could prove damages, especially after the IPO finally goes.

Regards all
Neal

Thanks, Ratan. You have done this board a real service and it helps me keep my sanity.

As a side issue consider your comment, "Which should be approved almost immediately (he thinks)." To me, this comment indicates that NAVR has approval for the IPO already, which is great news. Thanks Again. :o)

Ratan lal...thanks for the update. Now please, if you would, tell Paulson to communicate that to shareholders and analysts.

Will take your word and not call Paulson until he screws up again...
