BearCub: Thank your wife for the wonderful recipes. Wish I could cook. Thank G_d I have organized a small but adequate group of people in various fields (two of them in culinary) who are also somewhat prepared for whatevah...... My personal recipe for Y2K (and yes, I am still having fun): 2 fifths tequila 7500 W diesel generator w/ manual transfer switch and built-on muffler (already tested & it WORKS) Water Purification System w/ Xtra carbon filters (Been there, done that) Lots of ice (origin -- from my well, of course) Many, many limes (I have 2 lime, 2 orange, 1 kiwi, 1 papaya, & 1 lemon tree, not to mention tomato, herbs & spices,cannabis etc...) 2 Blenders (in case one kicks the bucket) 2 bottles Margarita Mix (from 2 case emergency drinking system) You all know what to do with THAT....... PART 2 Add: (After indulging) Tylenol or an anti-inflammatory (Naproxen works well) 2 Loaded Sigma 9 mm's to guard remaining mixture (give to someone else because you're too soused to know which end to point and that could be detrimental to you/everyone in said group) 16 hours bedrest (I am ex-military so I will not be on Watch that day/night; assign someone else to stand in....bribe them with SMORES) <C>AND A NEW DAY BEGINS</C> Start Over!!!!!!!!! Again, only kidding. I am very serious about Y2K, but girls just wanna have fun every now & then and this place will be a happening place!! Be Well, Lorraine
