Last week was the eleventh >3% weekly decline during the month of July in the
COMP. 9 of the previous 10 times the COMP was lower by an average of 1.9% one
week later. 12-weeks after that big down week, the COMP was lower 7 times by an
average of 14.5%. FWIW

bill,
the high flyers and leaders seem rather weak in this melt-up.....
aol, ebay, yhoo, amzn,,,,,,interesting to note that old standbys like intc, dell, msft, lu, csco, and amat are all doing much better....

what does it mean??,,,,heck if i know...but my guess is similar to your data,,,,we're going lower before we head higher....

Bill, thanks for relaying the nuggets that the data miners are collecting.

I concur with the statistics as I think this was a one day wonder and we are going lower in the next few weeks. I think that we will be down 20% on the Nasd in 12 weeks, possibly more like 33%. really
