You watch...they'll do something crazy and skip DOCSIS 1.2 and go straight to 2.0 or whatever.

Good question on CDMA road blocks......I dunno.

Hello Stephen, some thought-provoking comments you make. Can you elaborate a bit more on:

why the momentum AGAINST open access will increase deployment? Doesn't that just get them back to status-quo, which is a generally slow rollout? In other words, what's your view on why this would light a fire under them?

When you say ATHM is a big user of TERN, do you mean through Rogers and in turn through TCA? Or is there some agreement I had not heard about? Doesn't the MSO buy all the end-user equipment, rather than ATHM?

The last one really threw me. I thought and thought but can't see where you are coming from on the statement that this country throws up so many obstacles to CDMA systems. What sort of regulatory blocks (if that is what you mean) are in place to deter CDMA in cable or other?
