So you think we have a liquidity crisis? If this crisis destabilizes the US markets, what do you think the FEDs will do? Nothing? Or are they powerless?

Aside from the devastating effect on the hapless internet longs, this "deleveraging" business. Is it of a large enough magnitude to make a significant improvement to the global financial system ? The fact that it is happening now, is that good for the Japan economy and others in Asia ? Or will the proceeds just go to propping up an ailing system a little longer ?
