Neocon, yes I do understand that my statement probably offended some Republicans. It was aggressive and I knew that I would be attacked. Sometimes it seems that you have to be aggressive to make your point here. And it seems that some of the guys don't consider if someone else feels like they have been demonized by the statements they are making.

Unfortunately, when someone says "Republicans starve kids" or "Republicans let kids have guns", it lets the the parents off the hook. The first line of responsibility is the parents. The second line is the extended family. The third line is the neighbors and the church, and so on... As in Columbine, there are always signs that people can choose to heed or ignore.
