One must not confuse a stock with the market. Like a flock of birds in flight, they may all seem to move together, but individually each bird/stock has to set its own course. So much generally well known good news is out there in front of Xicor, all the remaining holders have locks on their holdings and are waiting for their rewards. The "weak sisters" have been culled. So no significant aggregate selling pressure can be generated. To the contrary, the institutional managers are arriving back in flocks and applying buying pressure. I expect at least another 6 months of this process. A lot of radar screens are still showing blank. Over $5, analyst recognition, continued rising on high volume, technical indicators continually being triggered, turning the corner to profitability, all these and many other flag waving events will tend to keep this recovery process going. Enjoy the ride.

Interesting chart to ponder:

Ram, it has so much "juice" left in it because even at this level it is still dirt cheap.

I don't know if the bottom will be mid 4's, low 4's, high 3's, mid 3's, etc. However, I am very confident that by the end of the year, or sooner, one will be very happy with their purchases at any of these prices.

I did buy more on the pullback to 4 last Thur, and got carried away with a little purchase at 4 1/2 today as it looked like the stock was going to break (it didn't - oh well).

I am bullish on the stock because I am of the opinion that Xicor's turnaround is already baked and if the semi industry stays strong, this stock is going to be big. I will be monitoring the state of the semi industry very closely, and at any sign of a slowdown my strategy and plan of action will change. However, based on the Q2 cc's and everything I read, the future looks good.
